Lessons Learned

I must admit when I first started this business, I wrongly assumed it would be an easy process, but as you soon learn in life anything worth having doesn’t come easy! Nothing happens by chance and sadly you don't just get lucky in life. I think sometimes we get carried away by what we see on social media we assume that the all the perfectly posed images are real life and that’s how life looks 100% of the time. I must admit I have been guilty of this in the past! The images we see on social media are at times the perfect picture we want to display, the realness at times doesn’t make for a pretty picture! 

We see a huge following, lots of likes and assume that means everything is rosy, but in reality, it can at times be a hard, slow slog and it takes time to understand what works and what doesn’t. There's been lots of tears at times, lots of lessons learned and reality checks (Jack’s a saint at times!). I’m not saying it’s all bad but what I have come to learn is patience and self-belief are crucial to survive in starting your own business!  

It’s taken a long time for me to get this far, but if this all ends tomorrow, I’m so proud of myself and how far I've come (believe me I know I have miles to go!). I’ve always wanted to work for myself and build my own business, slowly I really hope this is something I am starting to do.
